Ready for Real Reviews

I love sharing ideas, recipes, quotes, advice, really anything that brings joy and happiness to both my life and the lives of others. Only thing I don’t like sharing is chocolate. Just ask my husband. So I thought, why not start a blog? I played around with the idea in my mind for about a year, but kept getting discouraged because there’s already so many other great, inspirational blogs out there. I felt like a tiny little fish in an overwhelming sea of mom bloggers.

What could possibly set my blog aside from the rest and why would people even want to read my blog?

Luckily my husband encouraged me to give it a try, and now I’m so glad he did.

When I first started bouncing the idea of blogging around I decided I wanted it to be more than just posts about myself and my family. I thought back to when I was first pregnant and what really helped me. Reviews!

Real reviews. Honest reviews.

Have you noticed lately how half the reviews online start out with I received this product in exchange for my honest review and then it’s nothing but ohhh, ahhh, this product is so wonderful. That just doesn’t work for me. I want to know the good and the bad. Real honesty. Not just the good. And that’s exactly what I want to bring in my reviews.

I’m going to focus on things related to motherhood – not just babies – but all things pertinent to mothers and women in general. I have a few items already lined up and I will be posting these reviews over the next few weeks.

Check back soon and let me know what you think. Also, if there’s anything specific you would like to see a review of, please let me know and I will try my best to make it happen.
